2011 Aotearoa Quilters Exhibition
Congratulations
to Judith Ross from Christchurch, whose stunning
quilt Mandala Magic, took out the Best of Show honours at the 2011 Aotearoa
Quilters Exhibition in Hamilton.
Judges Marge Hurst and
Chris Kenna chose Judith's quilt from over eighty quilts exhibited at the show.
Here she is seen receiving her prize of a brand new Bernina sewing machine from Kevin Anderson, Country Manager for Bernina New Zealand.
Formed in 1994 as the National Association of New Zealand Quilters (NANZQ), Aotearoa Quilters supports quilters and textile artists by offering classes, exhibitions and professional development opportunities.
